I was born in Vietnam and moved to Canada when I was 12. My journey began with studying Business Administration at SAIT, where I started working as a receptionist at a dental clinic. Driven by my passion for dentistry, I returned to school in 2006 and graduated from CDI College in Burnaby, BC. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I continue to thrive in a career I truly love.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether it’s grabbing a coffee or exploring new restaurants together.
My name is Carly. I graduated from Dental assisting school in 2020 eager to learn everything that this profession has to offer! I always knew I wanted to be in a Healthcare career but never knew which one was the best for me, but now I am extremely happy that I picked dentistry. I truly enjoy every aspect of being a Registered Dental Assistant and I have learned so much thus far! My name is Abbie and I’ve been dedicated to the dental field for over 30 years, and my passion for my role as a dental hygienist is as strong as ever. Born and raised in Ontario, I moved to Alberta in 2012 with my family after my husband retired from the Canadian Military. My path in dentistry feels like it was meant to be—my parents often tell stories of how I was fascinated by the field as a child, including the time I dressed up as “Murphy the Molar,” the Ontario Dental Association’s mascot, for Halloween when I was eight.
The part of my job I enjoy most is helping patients achieve optimal oral health while making their dental visits both educational and fun. I believe in the power of knowledge and am committed to providing personalized care with plenty of laughter along the way.
